# Meu Chamego: the pet store where PetStar was born

PetStar was built together with the Meu Chamego team, from the pet store's real grooming and sales routine.

## The challenge

Like many pet stores, Meu Chamego juggled many fronts at once: the grooming schedule, pick-up and drop-off, counter sales, staff commissions and reaching each owner for the next bath. Handling all of it in separate tools took time and left room for mistakes.

## The solution

Instead of adapting a generic system, we built PetStar with the pet store team, following the daily routine closely:

- **a drag-and-drop board** with the statuses the team actually uses;
- **pick-up and drop-off** with collection addresses;
- **a hybrid checkout** that sells products and services in the same cart and calculates commissions;
- **owner and pet records** with WhatsApp message templates.

What worked at Meu Chamego became PetStar, available to any pet store.
